It's the end of the year and it's time for reflection, especially since I've been wrapping up my Manifold affairs. So here's some thanks to the people who've made my time here even more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been:

@firstuserhere, @NicoDelon, and @Joshua have been really nice to me and we've had many pleasant interactions;

@42irrationalist has been making consistently good predictions on the Ukraine war markets and I'm happy I'm leaving them in good hands;

@BTE adds a lot of flavour to the Manifold experience with his markets, comments and unique trading style, and I had so much fun with our diamond league competition;

@jack is just really impressive all around, I've always enjoyed reading his insightful comments;

@SirSalty is excellent at his job, I started out with the impression that he's not taking things very seriously but that has been thoroughly proven wrong and Manifold is very lucky to have him;

@SemioticRivalry is a really good trader and I quite enjoyed competing with him when I was still doing news trading. We also had a couple of tense Master league competitions along with @jacksonpolack (who is also an amazing trader and if someone wants to become better at that, they should study what he does);

@Conflux made a great podcast and I had this plan for a while that if I hit my betting limits on a market, I'd give all the info to him instead of posting it in a comment (never found myself in that situation, though);

@chrisjbillington is a very impressive forecaster and I had fun betting against him on the SpaceX markets. I didn't have much respect for market prices at the time because the Ukraine markets had been quite mispriced ever since I joined, so I started to bet bunch of mana with little research just to check whether it will be good enough. Chris showed me that nope, people here are actually competent, and I need to do better. @Mqrius also deserves credit here.

I also spent lots and lots of time live betting on sports and I had a great time doing it, so thank you to all the market creators who made this possible - @FranklinBaldo, @UniversalFC, @Eliza, @egroj, @KevinBurke, @MaggieDelano, @RJPerez and many others (FUH as well, of course, but I already tagged you elsewhere :D).

Of course, live betting is most fun when there are other people betting with you, so thanks to @ChristopherRandles and @ZicoVerona for always keeping me on my toes on the soccer markets. I also had some thrilling live betting battles with @AlexLiesman when I was starting out and I missed him later on when he became inactive.

This is far from an exhaustive list, there are many awesome people that I haven't mentioned here. I haven't been active for a while now but I'm still reading Discord because of the community, y'all are great! Thanks again, I've had the best time.

@Mira shines their light upon all of us, blessing us with their divine intelligence. Though Mira portends Manifold's doom, I pray the good users of this website find grace as doting pets upon Mira's great ascendency

@Panfilo The whale slayer. The minnow on a mission. Panfilo IS THAT GUY. And they leave helpful comments to help Manifold be more accurate

@Joshua What a positive and enjoyable community figure! People like this are essential to Manifold as a cultural space

@Tripping Went out on a limb and gave me my first loan. A big one! They didn't even specify terms! So so nice of them, just went out on a limb for a fellow melee player

@Conflux Conflux had some mana. Their reaction to having this mana was to set up a grant program for new motivated users. That's so cool!!

@Eliza Is always so so helpful in the discord any time someone has questions or technical problems

@Mira is very nice for giving free money

@saulmunn did.a great job organizing manifest

@Austin is very nice for helping me get a free ticket for manifest after the deadline

@Tripping made individual markets for all the Game Awards categories, it's interesting to see what people see as the favorites

@Joshua gotta be one of the nicest staff members I have met on any site. Same with Eliza and SirSalty

I’m very new to this website and don’t really know how a lot of this stuff works, I came here to pretend to be a stock broker and this community has been really positive and fun.

I appreciate @JosephNoonan's markets and polls because he brings in topics from philosophy that I would not have expected in this context and that enrich this website.

@Prag i think is a caring and wonderful analyst who is capeable of making some really good trades in the future
