This market can be resolved now (as NO). The 2024 report just came out and Czech Republic is at 7.97 again.

bought Ṁ15 of NO

Pro:
- Pavel ❤️

Against:
- Blažek is still the minister of justice, meddling in ODS affairs, getting stranded in storms
- a rise in dissatisfaction, populist preferences and voices questioning elections' legitimacy
- sentences for supporting Russian aggression
- FF UK?

Not saying all these are significant for democracy, just possibly important for the Economist

Beats me why anyone would care about this fake, arbitrary metric

predicted NO

@JonathanRay Fair. I think it's just fun to predict. Unfortunately, the truly interesting stuff (level of democracy) is impossible to put into a single number.

@JonathanRay I'm not familiar with the index but "arbitrary" seems excessive. Most likely it does correlate with some things we care about. Do you know any better alternatives?
