Will the Washington Post call Larry Hogan racist, directly or implicitly, between February 9, 2024, and May 14, 2024? Anything on or before February 9th will not count. Anything on and after May 14th will not count.

Implying he is racist will count. This includes, but is not limited to, questioning his business practices, campaign platform, policy positions, and record as governor. Terms including, but not limited to, 'bigot', 'supremacist', 'dog whistle', or 'nationalist' will count. Critiques of policies as increasing racial inequality, segregation, or division will count.

Straw man statements will count (i.e., 'Some people say X about Larry Hogan.') Stories about people or organizations calling Hogan racist will count. 'Man on the Street' quotes will count.

Guilt by association will count (i.e., 'Larry Hogan's not racist, but here is a racist supporting him.') This includes, but is not limited to, friends, family members, business associates, and campaign or Gubernatorial staff.

Other attacks on Larry Hogan's character will not count.

News stories, Editorials, and Op-Eds will all count. Online or print editions both count. Email newsletters will count. Official Washington Post social media accounts will count. Staff social media accounts do not count. Ads and sponsored content do not count. Content that calls Hogan racist but is later removed, edited, or deleted will count.

Washington Post content on archive websites including, but not limited to, the Wayback Machine and Archive Today can be used to resolve.

Question closes at midnight ET on May 13th. Publish dates and timestamps will govern.

In the event that there is no clear statement by the Washington Post, then the market creator will resolve using best judgement. If content is edited around the beginning or end of the time period for this question, the market creator will use best judgement as to which version was published within the time period.

This market will only resolve YES or NO, not as a percentage.
