How much money will former President Donald J. Trump raise by the end of April? This question will be resolved based on receipts listed on the FEC here under "TRUMP, DONALD J." for the close of books on April 30, 2024, with a filing deadline of May 20, 2024.
According to the FEC data for the close of books on February 29, 2024, Donald Trump had raised $99,376,999.72. (This could change with amended reports.)
Because of the size and complexity of these reports, it is common for a presidential campaign to amend a FEC report multiple times. While unlikely that an amended report would be submitted within 24 hours of the original report, the market creator will use the most recent version when checking the FEC website to resolve the question.
The April 2024 monthly FEC reports are due May 20, 2024, and this market will close on that day at midnight ET. It resolves when the data is available on the FEC's "US President" page.
Please note the following:
(A) The "Total receipts" number for "Trump, Donald J." under the FEC's "US President" page is the source of truth for this question. Other finance numbers, various committee data, and other FEC pages do not count.
(B) This market will resolve when the data is available for the April 30, 2024 close of books. That may not be on May 20th, or even the next day.
If there are any issues or ambiguity with the FEC page or Trump filings, including changing website names, formats, accounting, delays, etc., the market creator will use best judgement to resolve the market.
Additional dollar ranges will not be added. This market will not resolve as a percentage under any circumstances. The market creator will not trade in this market.
