I'm hosting the Big Manifest Awards Ceremony (BigMAC) this year. It's an Oscars-style event where there are multiple nominees and only one winner in a number of categories. Nominate your favorite markets from the past 12 months. You can nominate yourself. You'll be judged by manifold staff and other community members. You'll be given an opportunity to give an acceptance speech if you win. Prizes will be awarded!

Does the Eliezer bet one even count? It was made over a year ago

@spiderduckpig up to @ian but IMO what's being considered should be "stuff on Manifold since last Manifest", but that doesn't mean the market has to have been created in the last year. If the activity that made it great happened in the last year, that would count. (E.g. I think the 2024 prez market should be eligible even though it was created years ago. LK-99 shouldn't be considered because what made it interesting all happened long before last manifest)

@Ziddletwix yeah I think that’s fair! the interesting market activity must’ve happened in the past 12 months

I nominate the Canadian election market, American election market, Tumbles insolvency market, the "will the median of the bids on this market be over 60" market

I'm not going to vote for the canadian election market due to the shenanigans, but the others look good to me!

oh I added the canadian election market without seeing this
