Market resolves YES if:
1. Official health authorities such as the CDC or FDA report one or more new cases of salmonella in states not already listed in the current outbreak within the next 7 days.
2. Reliable news outlets report on new cases in additional states within the 7-day period, even if official health authority confirmation is pending past market resolution time.
3. Any state health department issues a statement confirming new cases of salmonella connected to the recall.

Market resolves NO if:
1. No new states are reported to have cases linked to the recall by the end of the 7-day period.
2. All new reported cases occur in states that have already reported illnesses, with no additional states involved.
3. Any reports of new cases are explicitly stated as not connected to the recalled cantaloupe.

Market resolves N/A if:
1. There is a significant disruption in communication making reliable information unavailable (e.g., a major outage affecting news or regulatory websites).
2. The CDC, FDA, or another official body issues a retraction of previously reported case numbers that calls into question the scope of the outbreak within the resolution period.
