To resolve as "Yes" (protests occurred), the following criteria must be met:

• Sustained protests involving at least 100,000 people in Kyiv's city center or main square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti)

• The protests must last for at least 2 consecutive weeks

• The main demand of the protesters must be for a change in national leadership/government OR

• The protests directly lead to the calling of new presidential elections in Ukraine

To resolve as "No" (protests did not occur), the criteria are:

• Protests fail to meet any of the above criteria by December 31, 2024
