On 2023-09-19, RocketLab's 41st mission ended with a failure early in second stage flight. They hope to "return to the pad shortly" after investigating the failure and implementing corrective actions.
This question resolves Yes if they launch again in 2023 with a non-test payload (customer or in house). The flight in question does not need to be successful, but it must launch (engines start, hold downs release).

For comparison, the last comparable SpaceX failures (loss of customer payload) were the CRS-7 flight and the AMOS-6 ground test failure. Return to flight was almost 6 months after CRS-7, and about 3.5 after AMOS-6.
