It seems like the daily numbers aren't live and it's just an average projection, so I won't make any more markets like this

FWIW, the site isn't actually getting live data on births. It just takes an average birth rate and fakes the counter by adding to that over the course of a day. Try changing your computer clock to 11:59 PM, and you'll see what the website will show tonight — about 366k births!
