
Argument against: Greenland is basically an eastern version of Alaska, which is consistently Republican, and it's on the far right of the continent, which kabbalistically implies it should be right wing. Argument for: It's Europe-adjacent and majority minority, and the continent is actually oriented in reverse because something something Panama Canal.
Given the local majority government is socialist it would vote Democrat by a large margin. Greenlandic politics are far closer aligned to the Democratic party than the Republican party
If Trump buys Greenland with the support of its residents they’ll vote R. Trump won the Native American vote in 2024 so I don’t see why he wouldn’t win the Greenland natives.
@nathanwei I also think that some MAGA Republicans might just move there to celebrate or whatever. They have only 30K people so a bit of red migration could easily tip the scales.
