Resolution Criteria
This market resolves to YES if, at any point during the calendar year 2028 (January 1, 2028 - December 31, 2028), Donald Trump explicitly states that he is a candidate for a third term as President of the United States. This includes:
A formal announcement of candidacy
Filing paperwork with the Federal Election Commission
Clearly stating "I am running for president" or equivalent language in public remarks, interviews, social media posts, or other verifiable communications
The market resolves to NO if:
Trump never makes such a statement during the year of 2028
