The opposite; any evidence he was LGBT would have been massively amplified by the right (and indeed fake evidence of it has been.) Plus he seems to have been fairly right-wing.

Previous LGBT shooters, like that trans school shooter a while back, were identified as such and siezed upon by the right immediately.
