Edge cases:

1. If the Palestinian Authority no longer controls the West Bank, the leader of any Palestinian government in charge of the area will take precedence.

2. Should there be a power struggle or if the situation remains ambiguous, I'll hold off on making a decision until things become clearer.

3. I've initially set the deadline for the end of this year, but I'm open to extending it if Abbas remains in leadership by then.
