Background
In Sweden, the Christian Democrats (Kristdemokraterna, KD) received 5.3% of the votes in the 2022 election, which gave them 19 seats in the Riksdag. But now (in June 2025) they are polling below 4% so they might lose all their seats in the next election in 2026. Will they recover?
Resolution
This resolves YES if the Christian Democrats get any seats in the Riksdag after the 2026 election
This resolves NO if the Christian Democrats do not get any seats in the Riksdag after the 2026 election
This resolves NO if the Christian Democrats cease to exist or merge into some other party
If they just changed name I would still treat them as the Christian Democrats
Situations such as a politician in the Riksdag switching parties to the Christian Democrats after the election or such will not count, they have to be on the ballot for the Christian Democrats in the election
This question is about the next national election which is planned for 2026, but if it happens to occur earlier or later than 2026 I'll still count it
