Currently (2024-03-12), the Manifold FAQ at https://docs.manifold.markets/faq incorrectly states than the initial balance on new accounts is M500: "All users start with M500 for free."
The correct amount is M1000, as specified on https://manifold.markets/ (when not signed in) , and as I have just confirmed (having just created this account).
Will the FAQ be updated to specify the correct starting-balance by 2024-04-01 00:00:00 UTC?
(If the actual starting-balance amount changes: This market will resolve YES if at any time before closing the true starting-balance and the FAQ match; this market will resolve YES if the FAQ is even momentarily correct.)

@BTE Ah, you're right: The new-user M1000-infusion is implemented as one M100 "Starting balance" plus nine M100 "Question exploration bonus"es, for a total of M1000 trivially available to new users.
None of these are M500, which is still what the FAQ says. Nothing is M500. This market will resolve YES if the string "M500" disappears from the FAQ (in the context of new accounts) and is replaced by anything even slightly more accurate, such as M1000, or M100 + M900, or M100 + 9 * M100.
