Will @ScottAlexander post another article with a title that matches "The [disease] of [emotion]" before 2026?

He's got to be doing it on purpose, right?

The first variable can be either a disease or a pathogen, I'm not going to be pedantic about the difference. The second variable can be an emotion, philosophical concept, or maybe even something else like a political ideology; it just needs to have the same general vibe.

The other two words must be identical; for example I won't accept one that starts with "a" instead of "the".

It must be the title of a full article, not just a section header or social media post. IDK if he still uses Livejournal, but that won't count. It does count if it's a guest article that's posted somewhere other than ACX. I will also count a full-length post on LessWrong or the EA forum.

Articles he's published in the past other than the three I mentioned above don't count, but let me know if any exist.

Sad! Follow-up market:

Maybe this isn't on purpose, and it's just how he thinks because he spent years of his life getting an MD?
