Sorry guys, I had high hopes but didn't make it happen this year. I turned out to be driving through death valley Dec 29-31 so a bit tough to organize ^_^

@Predictor sorry 😔 I also got sidetracked by the resolving party. I wanted a talking party instead but everyone was hard at work cleaning up the old markets. Felt bad to compete with that

This delay kind of makes me think it makes it easier for a YES resolution, as now more time for people to get invested for YES and then attend, when the number of “natural” attendees on the original timeframe could have been a lot lower

Don’t particularly care as not over-invested, just an observation

sorry, i've been really busy, and was traveling til evening on the 31. i would still like to do it and lots of people hearted various ideas, but not sure how serious they all are.i do have time this week but it depends

I assume this hasn't happened yet. Is market close a deadline? If not, can you extend and set a deadline?

I'm pretty sure this happened Jan 1st on discord, complete with screen sharing. Does it have to include you, or does it have to be on Zoom specifically?

I was thinking more about something where we trade around who can screenshare, briefly advertise markets, talk about your year etc. will update when I have time (tomorrow)

Hey guys the time is coming. How should we do this? My idea:

I can make a sign up sheet and people enter their usernames + lists of interesting year end markets

We get on zoom or Google meet

According to the sheet we each spend like 5-10 minutes each screen sharing on a couple of now ending markets

Also talk about how it went, what you expected vs what happened

The crowd can talk/comment in chat too

So overall it's a group video+audio chat but with sections with people introducing things etc

Other ideas?

Dates: Jan 1 or 2? Because so many claims end midnight on NYE it's guaranteed that there will be a big delay for most users

@Ernie extra stuff: at the end, how about everyone can promote some of their markets and beg for bettors, while they screen share the market. Time limit 1min/market

This would be great for MC markets of all types
