Will the Atlantic Ocean's daily mean sea surface temperature surpass 2023's record peak temperature before October 1, 2024?
Resolves the same as the original on Metaculus.
Resolution criteria
This question will resolve as Yes if the "Daily Sea Surface Temperature, North Atlantic" chart—accessible when choosing "North Atlantic" from the "Area Selection" dropdown menu at the link—shows the 2024 line graph surpassing 2023's peak temperature record of 25.4 C set on August 31, 2023, for any day before October 1, 2024. The question will resolve when the data for September 30 is first available on the chart and accessed by Metaculus.

@ChristopherRandles for context I think Metaculus broke/changed their API with the big rewrite, so this will probably happen a bunch

@draaglom Thanks, yeah I noticed. I was hoping they'd version the API to give people a bit more time to port their stuff over. I hope I'll find time to fix it soon. Until then I'll let the other mods know mirrorbot isn't working right now, so hopefully they can help resolve markets too.
