I'm going out to dinner with three friends. One of them is a pre-everything trans girl (1 month on estrogen, beard, wearing a skirt). We live in Portland. Medium-nice dinner place.
She wants to know odds of someone bothering her about the skirt, so we're making a market. "Hate crime" here encompasses e.g. nasty remarks, being asked to leave, pointing and laughing, or really conspicuous and extended glaring.
