Resolves to my best judgment at end of year for how much the US government / Trump administration has spent on acquiring any part / whole of Greenland, or direct payments to Greenland residents, or direct payments to Denmark in reference to Greenland.

Does not include routine expenditures on the US military base(s) already within Greenland, or travel for Trump administration officials to and from the landmass, or other such things that are hard to quantify.

Does include any credibly reported cash payments for licensing additional space on the island.

Other includes any values larger than the given options. Any negative value (like US extracting payment from Denmark in exchange for not invading) would just resolve to the $0 bucket. Rounds to the nearest billion, in the case of values falling between, say, 500 and 501 billion.

Once again, resolves to MY BEST JUDGMENT. I will consult credible sources and other Manifold admins if there is substantial gray area in the resolution.

I will not bet on this market (except initially to set the probabilities at reasonable values).
