Sum of (displayed) probabilities is currently 1476.8. Is there any easy way to figure out exactly how much NO to buy in each so that it adds up right?
@TobyBW Just buy no in everything such that your NO shares in each option is equal.
Then, exactly 10 of them will resolve YES and the rest NO and you'll net money. This is not taking the "Other" option into account.
@firstuserhere When you say "Bottom 10" are you meaning 24th-33rd(no demotion zone)? or the actual last 10 on the list (predictors that demote)?
The original design of /Ernie/predict-top-8-fide-chess-rankings-a had many more aspects. Including birth year, birth decade leaders, a random 100% for the exactly middle player, etc. I discarded it as too complex. But for leagues... There is opportunity since participation here implies insanity at a deep level
