Do yall really expect o3 to be so much better than o1? I didn't feel a "Holy Shit!" From 4o to o1

I'm pretty confident it won't take 5 months.

Does this include stuff other than positive reactions to advancements? E.g. a major AI company suddenly undergoes an ftx style crash and burn?

@TimothyBandors I only bet large amounts when I have high certainty, that's how I got a profit graph that's more or less smooth positive growth, you get the same trader bonus regardless of how much I bet

Reasons for my Holy Shit! To deepseek:

-unexpected new player in the race

-open source

-40x cheaper api

-Even if they are lying about total compute used, there's not enough h100s in the world for them to by lying by much

@TimothyBandors would you feel holy shit for an ai model that is really smart? like better than the best humans at competitive programming for example

@Bayesian I am currently using ai tools to build out a startup. If a new AI drastically improves how fast I can work, I'd probably feel Holy Shit!
