Police recovered the car! Apparently it was abandoned on South Congress St.

I just picked it up from a towing lot. It's basically exactly the same as before, with a bit of dirt from the lot it was parked on. Stephen's climbing shoes are still in the trunk.

The whole process has been disorienting. Strange that the car is now back as if nothing changed. I wonder what crimes were committed using it.

In my experience, stolen cars eventually turn up but often in an undriveable condition

@SG And I'm sure the chance sharply drops each day it is not found...

I think there's a good chance it will be found; most stolen cars are kept temporarily for joyriding/committing crimes, and abandoned when they're done with them.
