MMX is a probe which will be operated by JAXA and carry instruments from JAXA, NASA, ESA, and CNES. It is scheduled to launch in September of 2024 and should reach Mars in 2025. The probe will orbit Mars, then transfer to an orbit around Phobos, where it will land and collect samples. Then, the probe will make multiple flybys of Deimos, before sending the sample return module on a trajectory to Earth.
For this market to resolve "Yes" the probe should successfully orbit Mars, and have all seven major scientific instruments, as well as communications, working to be considered "functional". The scientific instruments are listed here.
