The earliest launch date is October 5, 2023, and the spacecraft should reach Psyche in August of 2029. 16 Psyche is a metallic asteroid in an orbit between that of Mars and Jupiter.

It should successfully orbit Psyche, and have all four major scientific instruments, as well as communications, working to be considered "functional"

The four major scientific instruments are the multispectral imager, the neutron and gamma ray spectrometer, the magnetometer, and the X-band antenna.
