@Wott has, without warning, sent me 16 mana seemingly as a response to this Discord message.

I can't just not follow up on that. I can't leave that on my conscience. That would be shameful of me.

@Wott is the 0th Manifolder in this chain. I am the 1st. The same Manifolder cannot be in the chain more than once.

A new Manifolder is added to the chain when they managram another user with a memo that contains and starts with the phrase "double it and pass it on" (non-case sensitive). I may make good faith exceptions to this memo rule at my descretion.

The managram needs at least double the mana they had received.

Additionally, their managram needs to be made within 48 hours of them receiving their initiating managram to count.

Only the 1st valid managram sent by a user counts. Sending multiple to the same or different users will not count the 2nd attempt and beyond.

Market resolves to how many Manifolders successfully "doubled it and passed it on". Only one market answer will resolve YES. The rest, NO.

Shame upon the Manifolder who breaks the chain. That, or shame may be also be brought upon the Manifolder who sends their managram payload to an inactive or distrustful user.

I cannot trade on this market.

Well, I had a bit of a roadmap of surprises laid out for the following days of this game, but as any dungeon master probably knows, plans are useless, but planning is indispensable.

Per the rules, there must be shame.

@bens Tag! You're it!

@bens is next in the chain. The count is 1.

god i love this stupid website

πŸ’œ

Oh oops… sorry guys, I was fasting the last 24 hours for Yom Kippur and this distorted my sense of time. I was always gonna pass it on but somehow thought I had until tonight? Oops.

@bens this is what happens when I don’t log in to Manifold for ONE night

@bens I realize I look incredibly suspicious given that I profited the most on this question πŸ˜†

But I only threw like 100 mana at β€œ1” as a bit

@bens THANKS BEN πŸ˜‘

That tracks, it really made no sense to me as an intentional move from you, especially when you didn't bet any additional mana on YES

@bens im never betting on anything ever again.

@MarySmith sorry Mary, I like your bread market

I really thought bens would pass at the last moment

@MaxE y'know... so did I

@bens sure ya did ;)

@MaxE ...who would you have sent them to?

@MaxE idk probably Strutheo or Stefanie

@bens I feel betrayed

Should we launch a take-2 of this game?

sold αΉ€159 NO

shame on you @bens

sold αΉ€0 YES

It's funny I accidentally burned 500 mana by betting "1 person" down to 2% when I thought it had already been ruled out. But overall I've profited 300. Was a fun market to micromanage

@Orangey Honestly it's probably literally my fault it resolved to 1 LOL, I'm the one who paid BenS to do it

@Orangey It doesn't show you as paying him

@SimonWestlake It wasn't a coordinated intentional payment, but I 'paid him to do it' by putting NO limit orders at 2% on the "1 person" option

@Orangey I feel like if that was his intention, he'd have bet to 99%
