Title does not include the “full” term people are using to mean “enough to live off of.” No description, no creator comments, creator did not respond to tag two days ago, probably resolves Yes. @mods
I think the @creator is no longer on manifold. At this point we are betting over interpretation, and questions with the exact same title and resolution criteria but with a different year have already resolved yes.
@MaxE Wikipedia says a "full basic income" is enough UBI to raise everyone above the poverty line even if they had no other income.
@MaxE in the Wikipedia they include both
- Partial UBI (below poverty line)
and
- Full UBI (above poverty line)
within the Universal Basic Income article
I've seen other markets in Manifold that specify in the title "Full" and in the description "above poverty line". If this requirement is not explicit, I would assume by default that small payments would also count, but the @creator would have to clarify
@LuisPedroCoelho @NcyRocks Since there's no clarification in the market, and since the Marshall Island rule is being reported as an example of UBI, it makes sense to say that by a standard reading of the the rules, this an example of UBI. It should resolve yes.
