From Steve Friess: A Cautious PredictIt Sits Out The House Speaker Drama (10/26/2023):

“In the interest of goodwill with the CFTC and a hopeful settlement in the future, we’re not putting up every new market that we possibly could think of.  We’re on a little bit of a tighter leash. We really want the CFTC to come to some agreement, which will probably take less time than going through the legal process.”

This market will resolve YES if PredictIt and the CFTC enter into any kind of settlement effective by February 15, 2024 at 11:59pm ET. Announcements do not count. The terms of the settlement do not matter; PredictIt does not need to remain operational.

Otherwise, this market will resolve NO.
