The map shows two separate Tesla Robotaxi service areas in Dallas and Fort Worth. This market asks when customers will first be able to travel between these areas in a single Tesla Robotaxi ride.
Resolution criteria
The market resolves to the date range containing the first day that a qualifying service is available:
Endpoints: The pickup must be inside one of the two service areas outlined in the attached map, and the destination inside the other. These reference boundaries remain fixed regardless of later geofence changes. Either direction qualifies.
One booking: The journey must be available as one customer booking, in one vehicle, without transfers or a separate booking for part of the trip.
Customer access: Rides must be available to ordinary customers through the Tesla Robotaxi app. A general customer waitlist is acceptable. Employee testing, private demonstrations, press-only rides and specially arranged trips do not qualify.
Vehicle and supervision: Model Y and Cybercab rides both qualify. An onboard safety monitor or driver does not disqualify a ride offered through Tesla’s Robotaxi service. Trips in privately operated Teslas using consumer FSD do not count.
Route and availability: Highway and surface-street routes both qualify. Pickups and drop-offs along the connecting corridor are not required. Limited operating hours or weather restrictions are acceptable.
Evidence: Resolution requires either an official Tesla announcement (Twitter included) explicitly confirming that qualifying cross-area rides are available, or a credible, publicly documented completed customer ride establishing the date, endpoints and single-booking nature of the trip. A future launch announcement, expanded map or touching geofences alone is insufficient.
The qualifying date is the first date supported by this evidence, using Dallas–Fort Worth local time (America/Chicago). Evidence published later may establish an earlier qualifying date. A subsequent suspension of service does not undo qualification.
Exactly one outcome will win. If no qualifying service has been established by the end of 2027, resolution will wait until January 7, 2028 to allow evidence of late-December availability to emerge.
Market recreated to allow the "2028/never happening" option /MarkosGiannopoulos/when-will-tesla-robotaxi-offer-dire-PstE6RLUgL
You understand there is a problem if this does not materialize. In a pinch if a lot of people had already traded, you could resolve N/A when and if it didn't happen, but much preferable to scrap this and create a new market by copying this but adding an Other option allowing you to add new options later or add a 2028 to never option.
I think you should resolve this N/A, canceling it. The type of market you have chosen cannot be resolved NO on all options, one option and only one option must resolve yes. @MarkosGiannopoulos
