On October 10, 2026, Tesla's Robotaxi account said its Cybercab fleet had grown to "300+" vehicles serving Austin, TX. That was about five weeks after public Cybercab rides began there in early September. In reply, Tesla VP of AI Ashok Elluswamy said Dallas is next ("Dallas soon"), but he gave no date. As of October 13, 2026, Austin is the only city where the public can hail a Cybercab. Tesla's Dallas Robotaxi service has run unsupervised Model Y vehicles since April 2026, but it does not yet offer Cybercab rides. This market resolves YES if, on or before November 30, 2026 (11:59 PM US Central Time), members of the general public can book and take rides in a Tesla Cybercab within the Dallas, TX area through Tesla's Robotaxi app or service. The Cybercab is Tesla's purpose built two seat robotaxi with no steering wheel and no pedals. Any of the following confirms it: (a) an official Tesla, Tesla Robotaxi, or Elon Musk post or announcement saying Cybercab rides are live for the public in Dallas, (b) reporting from at least one credible news outlet (for example Reuters, Bloomberg, CNBC, The Dallas Morning News, NBC DFW, Electrek, Teslarati, Not a Tesla App) that public riders are getting Cybercab rides in Dallas, or (c) multiple independent, verifiable videos or posts from ordinary public riders (not Tesla employees or invite only early access testers) taking Cybercab rides that they hailed in the Dallas area. Paid or free rides both count, as long as access is open to the general public or to the existing public Dallas Robotaxi user base. Access does not need to be city wide, and a limited geofence counts. Rides with a Tesla safety monitor on board still count, as long as the vehicle is a Cybercab and the riders are members of the public. This market resolves NO if, as of November 30, 2026, none of the above has happened. The following do not count on their own: Cybercabs registered with the Texas DMV in Dallas, Cybercabs parked or staged at a Dallas lot, employee only or no passenger testing, display vehicles (such as at the State Fair of Texas), announcements of a future date, and Model Y Robotaxi rides in Dallas. Resolution deadline: November 30, 2026. Evidence published up to 3 days after that date will be accepted if it shows public rides happened on or before November 30, 2026. If the outcome is unclear, the creator will resolve based on the weight of the evidence and explain the reasoning in the comments.
