RINOs almost never leave it is sad to say. Like the Never Trumpers who are 'Republicans' but are essentially Democrats. In the pundit space, there are already a lot of Democrats who are Democrats. Flying your true colors would mean openly competing with others more established, and probably losing. As a 'long-standing Republican' who just happens to agree with everything the Democrats agree with they can still get gigs.

Just to make sure: If Donald Trump does not win the Republican nomination, will this resolve as N/A? What if he does not win but runs as a third party candidate?
