My understanding is that CEEALAR (aka the EA Hotel) was in the process of seeking funding from various funding orgs (EA Funds, SFF etc). I am fond of the project and see it as somewhat underated in the EA sphere for a variety of reasons. Certainly it has undergone positive shifts in recent months (bril new ops team for example) such that it would be a shame for the project to shut down prematurely when it looks like things are just about to start getting good.
Market was partly bait to see if eg Peter Wildeford might leak some inside info on the it's applications progress at the infra fund.
