1,000The fastest rise in the history of SPR is in the 80s with ~15 months to add 100 million barrels. The most recent "fast" increase was in the 2020s with ~40 months to add 100 million barrels. At those rates the target of 524 million will be reached from the current 283 million in ~ 3 / ~ 8 years. So only the fastest ever rate would suffice to refill if it started approximately now. Anything slower won't be enough.
