My rationale for betting YES: I think the expected value of the portfolio will be less than that of S&P, but that it'll still outperform it in the majority of possible futures (basically, I think there's a lopsided probability distribution). The picked stocks so far are very "number go up", and chances are they will, but it's not very well hedged for a tech sector downturn (neither is S&P but it's still more diverse).
