This market will resolve to NO if any other candidate is declared the winner, or if the election occurs and Count Binface does not win.
If Count Binface does not officially register or stand as a candidate in the Clacton by-election, this market will resolve to NO.
If the by-election is canceled or does not take place by December 31, 2026, the market will resolve to N/A.

Nigel Farage (rhymes with the way Homer Simpson say "garage" before Moe ridicules him and reveals he calls it a "car hole"), leader of the UK populist party Reform and long-time thorn in the side of mainstream politicians, is involved in a scandal about some questionable donations. His party called an otherwise-unnecessary byelection (an election outside the normal cycle, often used when a representative steps down), aiming to bring a "Farage vs the Establishment" message to the people.
The mainstream parties chose to boycott the byelection, leaving two candidates: Farage and Count Binface, a parody candidate with flagship policies like a £0.99 price cap on the "99 flake", a way of serving soft-serve ice cream with half a chocolate bar in it, that was introduced before decimal currency (so had some price like "half a shilling") but temporarily cost 99 pence before rising to its current pricing of around £5 in London (reportedly).
Farage did not have a majority in the 2024 election, raising the possibility that Count Binface could unify the mainstream vote and de-seat Farage.
