There are allegations that Vinfast, a Vietnamese EV manufacturer, is only making the appearance of creating this multi-billion dollar US based plant in order to advance its US IPO listing. Nonetheless in late July 2023 ground was officially broken for the construction near Moncurr. Will this plant actually be built and become operational, defined by the production of at least one production model of EV, by the end of 2026?
1,000@DanielW Check question history and comment dates -- I think you might be confused about what happened! The question was closed in 2023 which seemed odd to me, so I asked about reopening it. And then a while later I decided that with an inactive market creator account with extremely low activity, it was better to just exercise my mod powers and reopen it. I assume this will stay open until someone bring evidence that it has happened, or that the project is cancelled without reasonable possibility of revival, or the year ends, or we wait a bit after the year ends with nothing posted.
But honestly with 3 traders... hopefully you're planning to bring some evidence at resolution time :)
