I'm a postdoc at the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy at LMU Munich, and soon to be a fellow at the Center for AI Safety. I'll mostly be applying for US-based jobs in philosophy of science, philosophy of math, epistemology and metaphysics. (After finishing the CAIS fellowship in August 2023, I'll probably also start applying for philosophy jobs with AI-related specializations.) I got my PhD in philosophy (2017) and MS in math (2019) from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

My personal website is here. My PhilPapers page is here.

Update: I've been offered a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship at Oxford. The postdoc is for a two-year project in philosophy of math. I plan to either start at Oxford in fall 2023 or else defer by up to a year in order to keep doing research at CAIS.

@NicoDelon Much appreciated, man! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

How widely would you consider applying?

@Hedgehog sorry for the late reply, just saw this! I'm most interested in major North American and western European cities and plan to apply for any jobs in those places that seem attractive. I'm on the fence about Asia and Australia but possibly warming up to the idea.

I believe in you, especially since I'll also be looking for a tenure-track position roughly 6-7 years from now if everything goes according to plan.

@evergreenemily all riiiight, let’s go! πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Base rates on this seem pretty low. Best of luck though!

@Alana ha, you’re not wrong! And thanks, I plan to be in it to win it. 😎
