The next federal election in the Senate must take place before the 24th of May, 2025.
For the puposes of this question, the parties that make up the Liberal/National Coalition count as one party.
If there are 76 senators in the senate, 39 senators are needed to form a majority.
This question concerns the makeup of the senate after the results of the next senate election are taken into account, not whether any party manages to win a majority of seats up for election in a half-senate election.
This question will resolve only after the ABC's senate results page has no seats remaining in doubt.
