Of the first set of twenty, ten will fall in their first season. Will any of them hold out all year without fail? How many?

Only counts those who are currently Masters (at question creation in July) and who never demote to Diamond or lower at any point this year.

This question assumes there will be no higher leagues than Masters. So, for this question's purposes, if they enter higher leagues they're still counted as Masters so long as they never demote lower than Masters. But if a prestige-like system (give up all progress for a shiny badge) or something equivalent appears where they must forfeit rank, it counts as no longer being a Master.

@jacksonpolack yeah mb I should have explained more clearly in the description. there won't be another opportunity for masters to demote this year (barring admin punishment) so this will resolve tonight

hmm I've realized the close date doesn't need to be Dec 31st, as any changes to leagues in the last month will happen after the new year begins, so I'm adjusting the end date
