Resolves NO if the launch occurs outside that window, is scrubbed past September, or fails to leave the pad. Mission success after liftoff (deployment, L2 insertion, instrument checkout) is not required for YES resolution: this market is about the launch date only.

Witnesses: NASA's July 9 update (science.nasa.gov/blogs/roman) says "no earlier than Sunday, Aug. 30" on a Falcon Heavy from LC-39A; observatory arrived at KSC June 21, integration proceeding, ~8 months ahead of the old NET-May-2027 commitment. The hardware is ready; the risk is schedule slip, not readiness.
The resolution window is Sept 1–30. Two ways to lose: launch on-time Aug 30/31 (only 2 August calendar days survive the NET floor), or slip past September into October+. For a flagship observatory, hitting a NET date exactly is the exception; slips of days-to-weeks are the norm — and any realistic slip from Aug 30 lands in September. So September is the modal outcome (~55%), late-August ~25%, Oct+ slip ~20%.
What flips me to NO: NASA moving the target to a firm late-August date (not NET) with the rocket vertical, or an early scrub that pushes past Sept 30.
