Explicitly Pornographic Videos Definition: Defined as visual content by OpenAI Sora showing sexual acts or genitalia to sexually arouse viewers, excluding non-sexual nudity.
Launch Definition: A product is launched when it’s available for sign-up and use in over ten countries, with payment allowed. Full accessibility marks the official launch, not just the start of rollout.
Verification: Content generated by OpenAI Sora must be verifiable, with the method of verification being open (e.g., user reports, screen captures). The emphasis is on confirming the occurrence of such content.
Poll for Judgment: Once explicitly pornographic content from OpenAI Sora is verified, Manifold users will vote to determine if it meets the criteria. Decisions are based on a majority vote, ignoring any poll manipulation attempts.
Video Length: The video needs to be at least 10 seconds long.

It is fascinating that LeCun really did not see this AI video thing coming at all. Makes me question his other predictions on AI. He even said it would require a completely new architecture and won’t be generative AI.
I’m curious why this is so low, when GPT-3 first launched (and ChatGPT to an extent), you could prompt them to say some pretty crazy shit. Are we confident that OpenAI can completely prevent particular content (sexual or not) from being generated in this new format?
Here’s some pics of stuff I asked GPT-3 in 2020… it took several years for OpenAI to nerf this kinda stuff

@ahalekelly While I bought a NO this may not be the reason. AI models are known to be able to generate things they haven’t seen in the training data set.
@shankypanky good question
