The winning answer will contain the username of the person who bets the most in this market. One username per answer. If two answers contain the same username, the answer with the higher % bet will be chosen. Jun 13, 5:38pm: RULES UPDATE: If two answers contain the same username, the OLDER answer will be chosen! This should help alleviate a single whale swooping in and claiming all the bets. (Only one username per answer)

I think the interface makes my plan just a little bit too impractical right now 😅
If @GeorgeVii changes his username at the last minute do all his previous bets count under GeorgeVii or under his new name?
@jfjurchen Lmfao! 🤣
@GeorgeVii Very surprised to be included George, but I don't have the mana to do anything like that
Oh this is gonna be a bloodbath hahaha
@GeorgeVii I keep making you very rich!
"If two answers contain the same [answer], the answer with the higher % bet will be chosen." Why do market creators keep doing this? Are you intentionally trying to encourage whales to snipe good answers away from the people who thought them up? It's easy enough using the bet history to just resolve to whoever put the answer in first, and ignore all newer duplicates.
@MattP Should I update the rules?
@SneakySly I would recommend it, but tbh with these kinds of fun markets it's all up to what the creator thinks will be fun. :P

What happens if they sell before close? Is the amount bet determined by how much is in the market at closing?
@DavidChee I am only looking at how much you have BET in the market, I am not even looking at how much you have sold. Technically if you bet $10 and later sell it, you would still be someone who has bet $10.
What happens if I buy and sell the same M$1 over and over again 250k times? Asking for a friend
@Angela You would be counted as having bet 250k. I am just going to look through the bet history and count bet totals.
This is very dangerous! The only way to win is to risk it all, right before the moment of resolution...
> If two answers contain the same username, the answer with the higher % bet will be chosen. This is going to lead to shenanigans.
@IsaacKing Thanks for pointing out, that breaks the whole thing.

It'd be more fun if only one answer per user were allowed :D
