I'm making this market because I hold a strong conviction we should change the font of our logo.

To be super clear I'm referring to this font (major mono display)

It looks okayish, especially as we have gotten used to it. However, it is impossible to create branding material around and doesn't suit the logo very well. It's so thin that when written small/viewed from a distance it is also hard to read which is bad for recognisability long term.

My belief was reaffirmed when showing the site to a friend who studied art at uni who commented they didn't like it (I didn't ask any leading questions, they just naturally brought it up as I showed it to them).

Please suggest new fonts in the comments, especially if you are betting YES as if we see one we like it is more likely we will actually change it.
