Resolution Criteria
This market will resolve to "Yes" if, on or before December 31, 2025, the governments of the United States and Saudi Arabia publicly announce a joint nuclear agreement.
To qualify:
The announcement must come from official government representatives (e.g., heads of state, foreign ministries, energy departments) or be published through official government channels (e.g., press releases, government websites, or verified social media accounts).
The agreement must explicitly pertain to nuclear cooperation, which may include but is not limited to:
Civilian nuclear energy development
Nuclear technology transfer or sharing
Nuclear safety or security collaboration
Clarifications:
The market resolves based solely on the public announcement of the agreement; actual implementation, congressional approval, or execution of the agreement is not required.
The announcement must refer to a bilateral or joint agreement (not unilateral intentions or negotiations).
If no such qualifying announcement is made by the deadline, the market will resolve to "No."
In cases of ambiguity, resolution will be based on the best available public evidence and at the discretion of market moderators, using reputable news sources and official statements.
This one is even more explicit:
"Today is a historic day for the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We've come together on a deal for civil nuclear cooperation. Together, with bilateral safeguard agreements, we want to grow our partnership, bring American nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia and keep a firm commitment to nonproliferation.
