YOU must include "Mana Market" in the comments when managraming me mana in order to count for this market

Resolution criteria

This market will resolve based on the total amount of mana received by the creator through the "Managram" feature from other users. The market will resolve to the option corresponding to the total cumulative mana received from the time of market creation until the resolution date. The creator will post a screenshot or provide a link to their Manifold transaction history/profile showing the total incoming Managrams as the primary evidence for resolution. Only mana received via Managrams counts toward this total; mana received from other sources (such as market winnings, subsidies, or referral bonuses) is excluded. If the total amount of mana received is zero, the market will resolve to "0 - 50 mana." YES and all other questions NO.

Background

Manifold's "Managram" feature allows users to send mana directly to other users. This market tracks the volume of these peer-to-peer transfers received by the creator. Because this data is generally visible via a user's transaction log on the Manifold platform, the resolution depends on the creator's transparency regarding their received transactions.

Mana Update

  • Update 2026-06-27 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The 0–50 mana option will resolve N/A (rather than YES if zero mana is received). Due to the title being mislead. Title fixed

@traders new month new market

@creator you kinda blocked people from sending anything above 50 mana since at the higher scales it's trivial to pass from an increment of 50 to another and still make profit. No one normally takes such a risk.

@Velaris Thanks

@Velaris I have updated it to incentvize trading on new market

@OnlySlides Is there a particular reason that...

  • The market is set to independent mode and not dependent?

  • I am capable of adding answers to this market?

To address the 2nd bullet point, I strongly suggest you toggle the switch that allows only the market creator to add answers. Otherwise, be prepared for the bad kind of shenanigans out of other people.

@Quroe You are right I probably shouldve set it to dependent

bought Ṁ20 YES

I sent 10, none of the other bets seem to be worth it mathematically as it stands

sold Ṁ12 YES

@Magnify now it is ;)

bought Ṁ20 NO

This market will resolve based on the total amount of mana received by the creator through the "Managram" feature from other users. The market will resolve to the option corresponding to the total cumulative mana received from the time of market creation until the resolution date.

Am I correct in interpreting this as meaning only one option will resolve YES?

By convention the resolution criteria in the description take precedent over the title, so it may make sense to change "amounts" (plural) to "amount" (singular) in the title so it matches the description.

@TheAllMemeingEye Yes. YOU must include "Mana Market" in the comments when managraming me mana in order to count for this market. It is the total amount

bought Ṁ209 YES

@OnlySlides NOOOOOO

@Chimpy I'm cooked, I didn't know it was total mana

@OnlySlides I can't even sell it because a bunch of bots placed limit orders

bought Ṁ166 NO

@OnlySlides I agree with @TheAllMemeingEye that it seems misleading and apparently @Chimpy has been misled. Could you update the title and/or resolve the impossible option(s) to NO?

@OnlySlides @4fa could you just resolve them to N/A

@OnlySlides the title was very confusing. I am willing to take on the blame from people who would have originally profited from the no option or my mistake which swayed it heavily to the wrong side

@Chimpy I resolve to n/a for 0-50

@OnlySlides THANK YOU
