Resolves according to National Hurricane Center advisories.
Resolves YES if Idalia's center crosses the South Carolina coastline and is still at least a tropical storm according the the NHC's definition:
Tropical Storm:
A tropical cyclone in which the maximum sustained surface wind speed (using the U.S. 1-minute average) ranges from 34 kt (39 mph or 63 km/hr) to 63 kt (73 mph or 118 km/hr).
Also resolves YES if Idalia is still a hurricane.
Resolves NO if it doesn't cross the South Carolina coastline or does while downgraded to a tropical depression or below.
