@BTE and yeah, as JAAM notes, there have only been 14 storms, not 15. Otherwise the market would be much higher!

@NicoDelon I am all in on Trump’s demise! Thinking about buying some mana just to double down. Fani Willis has got him in her crosshairs and we will definitely know by the end of January if an indictment is coming. Whatever was recommended by the special grand jury is going to be hard to ignore and the probable cause standard is low enough that it’s literally impossible for me to imagine they didn’t recommend an indictment for many of the players. There are many prominent Georgia republicans that are facing changes too, such as the new Lt Gov who was a fake elector. Brian Kemp is gonna be under a lot of pressure to pass along get out of jail free cards…
@BTE it's weird that they close it at Nov 30. There have been multiple December storms for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_Storm_Olga_(2007) formed Dec 10
@BTE There was a chance of development in the Atlantic that’s at 10% right now. The official report won’t be out until then. I guess that’s why.

The last season with less than 15 named storms was 7 years ago (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Atlantic_hurricane_season), but since 2000 (last year that I checked) every season with less than 9 storms by mid September had less than 15 by the end of the season. We have had only 6 so far (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Atlantic_hurricane_season), so if we have 15 or more it would be a very atypical season
