I currently live in Tacoma, own properties in Portland and Tacoma, and could potentially have cause to visit Seattle or San Francisco such as for a job interview.

A transient visit along the way to another visit will not count. So airports, buses, trains, etc. won't resolve dozens of answers. The city must be an intended destination. However, I don't have to sleep in the city overnight: A couple hours visit could count.

Add options in the format "City, State" for the USA; and "City, Country" for foreign countries. Minor cities that surround a larger city may count as the larger city(for example, Gresham or Beaverton are part of the "Portland metropolitan area" so I may count them as Portland too).
