This market resolves YES if Rio Tinto or BHP has publicly announced board approval (a final investment decision) to fund full construction of the Resolution Copper mine near Superior, Arizona, on or before December 31, 2028.
YES if: a Rio Tinto or BHP press release, stock-exchange filing, or annual/half-year report states that full development or construction capital for the Resolution Copper mine has been approved.
NO if: only early works, shaft sinking, studies, permitting, or a partial/staged early-mine phase have been approved, or there is no company-confirmed approval. Media reports alone do not count.
Once approval is announced the market resolves YES even if the project is later deferred.
