NO

On 17 March 2023, following an investigation of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, alleging responsibility for the war crime of unlawful deportation and transfer of children during the Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

(Hopefully at some point this will also lead to deserved full genocide charge but I digress)

Will the ICC manage to track Putin down and arrest him in accordance with the warrant by the end of this year?

Track him down? The problem is not that the ICC doesn't know where he is. The problem is that he commands the army of a nuclear power.

@pietrokc actually right now it's that he's not travelling internationally to any countries that will hand him over. Who knows if russian nukes even work lol

Who knows if russian nukes even work lol

You would't want to test that on your local area, considering both advancements in nuclear energetics and quite precise rockets/drones.

Some of nuclear power plants are in other countries, also, meaning they can be affected if Russia is attacked...

@AnT even if they did they're too scared of the consequences. They didn't cheat thump about invading Ukraine before they did it. But they're throwing out the nuclear threat all the time so I don't believe it for a second.
